The Story of House of Homes Realty
John and Karen first visited the Resort in 2003 with the idea of buying a second home. After a year of making new friends and enjoying the wonderful amenities of the Running Y Resort and surrounding area they decided to make the Running Y their primary residence and started House of Homes Realty to help others transition to this one-of-a-kind lifestyle. The snowline elevation and 300+ days of sunshine lend themselves to a mild 4 season climate exposure.

John has been a successful real estate broker for more than 50 years, bringing his extensive knowledge and expertise to ensure your buying and selling process is seamless and enjoyable. John’s broad real estate experience includes residential real estate sales, investment properties, commercial properties, apartment complexes, shopping centers, industrial parks, and resorts. One of John’s favorite real estate investments, Lake of the Woods Resort, has kept him busy in recent years with the remodel and expansion.
Karen LaSalle
Karen’s real estate experience is primarily in residential sales but has included building and selling her own custom homes in California prior to her move to Oregon. In California Karen also enjoyed growing and selling flowers from her private flower farm on California’s Central Coast. Looking for a new adventure Karen moved to the Running Y in 2005, where she has enjoyed the community and activities. Karen loves helping a buyer find the perfect home, and making your selling experience easy and seamless.
